Women's Winter Comp Finals Day
2025 Women’s Winter Comp Finals Day!
We’re excited to announce the launch of the brand new WPACT Women’s Winter Comp, kicking off this Sunday, May 18th at the AIS! With over 50 players registered, this new format is off to a flying start!
All players who expressed interest have been drafted into four fresh squads with a focus on even matchups and interclub connection.

WPACT invites eligible athletes to participate in trials for this year's representative program. Following the trials representative squads will be selected to participate in term 2 training camps.

WPACT 2024/25 Summer Season Finals Day
Get ready for the biggest day of the Water Polo ACT Summer Season! The 2024/25 Finals Day will take place on Saturday, 5th April 2025 at the AIS Aquatic Centre. This event marks the culmination of the summer season, where the top teams in all age groups – from U14s to Premier League – will battle it out for the Grand Final titles.
Grand Finals Schedule:
U14s, U16s, Youth League, 2nd Grade, and Premier League matches all on one day!
Please note: U12s will not have a Grand Final.
This day promises to showcase the best of ACT water polo, and is the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and the entire water polo community to come together and celebrate an incredible season.

The awards night aims to recognise members for their exceptional achievements and contributions towards Water Polo ACT in 2024 & 2025.

WPACT Club Champs
Water Polo ACT will be hosting it’s second annual Junior Club Championships in Wagga Wagga, in March 2025. This will be an opportunity for all WPACT clubs and associations to come together with surrounding regions to celebrate water polo and crown club champions.

High School Girls Gala Day
The school water polo gala day is an initiative from Water Polo ACT to help engage high school students to play the great sport of water polo. The competition is played in a social spirit with no playing experience required.
Dates: 6/3/2025 - High School Girls (7-10)
Location: Australian Institute of Sport Aquatic Centre, Bruce.
Time: 9am-3pm (may vary based on entries)
Cost: $15.00 incl GST per student (school to be invoiced) - does not include pool entry

Junior Canberra Cup - WPACT Bye Round
Water Polo ACT schedule a Bye Round in conjunction with the Canberra Water Polo Academy’s Kap7 Junior Canberra Cup every year to ensure our member clubs can compete in the Canberra Cup and not miss local summer comp games.
Junior Canberra Cup will take place from Friday Nov 8th - Sunday Nov 10 2025.

Junior Summer Comp Commences
This year the Summer Season will run like a traditional summer season across the whole summer period. The season will culminate in the ACT Grand Finals which will be held on the 5th April 2025. All grades will be played on Saturday's with a mixture of centralised games at the AIS as well as home/away games.

The pre-season season aims to provide athletes with an opportunity to get back into the water and have fun. New players will gain experience playing in a setting where results don't matter, while all players will have the opportunity to work on regaining their fitness and improving their skills.

The Summer Season for our Second Grade Women will commence on Thursday the 24th of Oct 2024. The WPACT Senior Competition will be played as one "traditional" season. Youth League will move to week night games to ensure regular games can occur.

NSC 2025 - National State Championships
The National State Championships (NSC) are a performance competition for state representative teams. It is a Water Polo Australia selection event for National Age Group Program squads. The NSC is an opportunity for the best athletes in each State to compete against each other for the National Title.
The 15&U and 17&U Female and Male National State Championships will be held on the Gold Coast from 26-30 September 2024.
